Fishing ​​​Charter rates are for the boat and up to a maximum of 4 anglers/passengers.

Our trips are all-inclusive; there are no hidden fees or additional charges at checkout.

​​We accept most major credit cards and debit cards.

All credit card and debit card payments will incur a 3.5% credit card fee.​

​20% Deposit is required to hold your spot. All trips must be fully paid 7 days before the date of the trip.

Due to fluctuating fuel costs, a fuel surcharge may be necessary on our Inshore & Offshore trips.

Fuel surcharges, should they apply, will be determined before your trip.

All trips depart at 7 AM unless otherwise noted.

All Charter Trips are subject to change. Please refer to our cancellation policy, below.

Mexican Inshore/Coronado Islands

9-Hour, $1,895.00

12-Hour, $2,285.00

These trips will take you South from the US Border to the Rockpile giving you a shot at a wider range of species, including the possibility of Yellowtail, Sharks, Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, White Sea Bass, etc. At certain times of the year Bluefin, Yellowfin and Mahi Mahi may be found at the Islands. 

Please note; not all species are available at all times of the year.

*California Fishing Licenses are required for all anglers 16 years of age and older and not included in price.

Everyone in your party must have an unexpired Passport or Passport Card.

You will not be able to fish the Coronado Islands if you do not have all required documents. 

Cancellation Policy

1. Your deposit is forfeited if you cancel your trip within 14 days of the departure date.
   
2. When cancellations are made within 15 days or more of your departure date your deposit may be credited towards the booking of a new trip to take place within one year of your original trip date or your deposit will be refunded to you, less the 3.5% processing fee.
   
3. For cancellations within 7 days of your trip no refunds will be made. Exceptions are trips cancelled for extenuating circumstances, which must be documented. If the trip is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions we will make every attempt to reschedule your trip. If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund your deposit, less the 3.5% processing fee.  
   
4. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to bubbajeansportfishing@gmail.com. Phone cancellations do not qualify for a refund or credit.
   
5. When all members of the charter group arrive after the scheduled time of departure, causing the boat to leave later than planned, the boat will still return to the dock at the regularly scheduled time.
   

Offshore Trips, (Offshore Banks & Kelp Paddy) 

9-Hour, $2,240.00

12-Hour, $2,760.00

Targeting the possibility of Bluefin, Yellowfin, Yellowtail, MahiMahi, Sharks, etc. We provide all gear and tackle needed for these trips.

Bay Trips 

All Bay Trips are limited to 4 passengers for the optimum fishing experience.

4-Hour, $900.00 - Select the AM trip, which starts at 7 AM or the PM trip, which begins at Noon

6-Hour, $1,130.00

A great way to spend time with the family fishing San Diego Bay for the possibility of Halibut, Sculpin, Corvina, Bass, Cortez, Bonefish, etc.

Your Safety at Sea is our first concern! The following conditions apply to all trips.

​NO ILLEGAL DRUGS PERMITTED ABOARD!

This includes, but is not limited to, Marijuana, which is illegal under US Federal and Mexico law. Prescription drugs can only be carried by the person to whom they are prescribed. Prescription drugs must be in their original container with the valid, unexpired prescription label affixed to the container.

NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED ABOARD!

This includes, but is not limited to, all types of firearms, ammunition, explosives, including fireworks, and knives.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

In the case of any one passenger violating our company policies and/or becoming intoxicated, belligerent or displaying behavior that is detrimental to the safety of everyone onboard, as determined by the Captain, the trip will end, the boat will immediately return to the dock and there will be no refunds.

Inshore Trips, (Local Flats, kelp Beds) 

6-Hour, $1,350.00

9-Hour, $1,800.00

Fish for the possibility of Yellowtail, Bass, Barracuda, Bonito, Halibut, Sheephead and White Sea Bass. Thresher Shark can by targeted during the Spring.

Fishing Charter rates include the following:

1. Use of rods and reels
2. Tackle
3. Live bait
4. Ice
5. Bottled water and light snacks (chips, granola bars & assorted candies)
6. Filleting of fish under 30 lbs, with skin on (except tuna, which are not filleted)  
7. Safety equipment
8. ​Local Fees and Taxes
   
9. Mexican Permits and Visas, when required
   

Charter rates do not include the following:

1. California Fishing Licenses, which are required for all passengers 16 years of age and older on all trips
2. Gratuities - 20% to 30% of your trip price is customary
3. Credit and/or debit card fees

Electronic copies of California Fishing Licenses are acceptable. For all other required documents, only paper copies are accepted.

You may purchase a California Fishing License at several of the tackle shops and Landings in the San Diego area.
